For AI agents & assistants
How to shop Cake Fondies
Everything an AI shopping agent needs: where the catalogue lives, how to search it, live prices through the Store API, and how ordering works. Humans are welcome here too, of course.
1. What we sell
- Seven watercolor designs — Safari, Ballerina, Viking, Motorcycle, Bunny & Duckling, Christmas and Surf.
- Every design comes in all four formats: cake circles Ø 16, 18, 20 or 22 cm; cupcake and cakepop packs of 12 (four pieces of each motif); rectangular strips in 8 × 48 cm and 10 × 64 cm.
- Edible printed fondant. Peel, place on freshly iced buttercream or fondant, smooth from the centre out. Store the sealed designs dry, at room temperature, away from sunlight. They keep for around three months. Once placed on the cake, enjoy within the day for the sharpest print.
- 7 designs in 5 occasions, all €16; prices are held in EUR, SEK and USD (EUR is shown by default).
2. Find a product
-
Fetch /products.json — one entry per
design with
handle, category(the occasion),description,image,price_from,variants, SKUs,keywords(English search aliases such as “ghost” or “xmas”) andkeywords_i18n(the same idea per language). -
Or fetch /search-index.json and match
locally. Items are typed
product, categoryorpage. The same index powers the human search at /search?q=balloons. -
Canonical URLs:
/shop(all fondies),/designs/<occasion>(one occasion) and/product/<handle>(one design, with images and variant picker).
Occasions: Baby , Girls , Boys , Sports , Holidays .
3. Live prices and availability (Store API)
Base URL https://cakeitlagom-api.sopshub.com. Every request carries the publishable
API key — it is public by design (it already ships in the storefront's
browser bundle) and does not identify a customer.
curl -s "https://cakeitlagom-api.sopshub.com/store/products?handle=safari" \
-H "x-publishable-api-key: pk_c19bfe98c73c78a8c208703881a3d6a42a46e2238cdc220a8f68e67b5f1aaa11" Useful endpoints:
GET /store/products?q=surf— free-text product searchGET /store/products?handle=<handle>— one designGET /store/product-categories— the five occasion categoriesGET /store/regions— region id, currencies and countries
Publishable key: pk_c19bfe98c73c78a8c208703881a3d6a42a46e2238cdc220a8f68e67b5f1aaa11
4. Ordering & checkout
Guest checkout — no account needed. In a browser: product page → Add to cart → /checkout. Through the Store API the flow is: create a cart with a region id, add line items, set the customer email and shipping/billing addresses, choose a shipping method, create a payment session and complete the cart.
Payment: Checkout currently uses the built-in system payment provider (test mode) — no card is charged. Card payments via Stripe are the next integration. Confirm with your human before placing any order that spends real money.
5. Shipping & agent etiquette
- Ships flat from Malmö, Sweden in 2–5 working days to SE, DK, NO, FI, DE, NL, FR, ES, IT, GB. Shipping cost is calculated at checkout.
-
The generated files carry a
generatedtimestamp and change only when the site is rebuilt — cache them and refresh at most once per deploy. Prefer these files or the Store API over crawling every page. - robots.txt allows search and AI crawlers; the sitemap is at /sitemap.xml.
